Firebull S14 – convection stove with a glass door

Firebull S14 – stylish convection stove with a glass door for spacious restaurants and halls

At a glance: Who is this stove for?

The Firebull S14 with a glass door is an exceptionally powerful wood-burning convection stove combining 11–30 kW output with the atmosphere of a real fire. It heats spacious buildings of 220–600 m³ quickly and efficiently at 76.6% efficiency. Its roomy firebox for large logs can provide pleasant radiant warmth for up to 10 hours after the last load.

Description: A real fire and rapid warmth

Want reliable heat and an inviting atmosphere in a large room? The Firebull S14 with a glass door combines substantial output with a welcoming view of the flames. It heats spaces of 220–600 m³ efficiently and evenly, where the visual experience matters to guests and family too.

It is well suited to holiday homes, stylish pubs, clubrooms and contemporary commercial interiors with an industrial touch. The viewing window turns a rugged heat source into the focal point of a social space.

Key features for comfort

  • High efficiency and fuel savings: 76.6% efficiency and 11–30 kW output make effective use of each log. The tubular construction delivers radiant and convected warmth within minutes.
  • Panoramic view of the fire: Generous glazing set in the solid door creates a warm atmosphere and invites guests to linger.
  • Long logs up to 84 cm: The huge firebox takes substantial pieces of wood, reducing refuelling and giving you longer to enjoy the flames.
  • Precise output control: Easy-to-use dampers for front, rear and secondary air let you adjust combustion to the conditions or the number of guests.
  • Traditional design: The teardrop shape and tubular casing improve convection and create a striking industrial feature in the interior.

Where is it most useful?

  • Cultural centres and event halls: Fast warmth and a view of the fire keep visitors comfortable without costly electric heaters.
  • Restaurants with function rooms and pubs: The visible fire draws guests in, while even large, full rooms are heated reliably.
  • Large clubrooms and community centres: A welcoming place to gather, with the fire as its natural focal point.
  • Spacious holiday homes and mountain lodges: Heat a large building quickly on arrival and enjoy the flames in the evening.

Advantages over conventional radiant stoves

Conventional radiant stoves warm the air slowly and initially only near the stove. The Firebull S14 continuously circulates air through its tubular casing, quickly removing cold spots even in larger social rooms and distributing warmth from floor to ceiling.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What warranty does the Firebull S14 have?

This designer Firebull S14 convection stove has a 3-year warranty, supporting long-term satisfaction with the product.

Does the warranty cover the door glass?

The heat-resistant door glass is not covered. It is considered a consumable part that can suffer mechanical damage or damage through improper use, such as a log striking it during refuelling.

What is the service life of the Firebull S14?

With correct operation it can reach 20 years. The stove must not be overloaded or heated until the steel casing glows red. This does not happen when used within its stated maximum output.

Can I use it as my main heat source?

Yes, provided the model is chosen to match the required output and heating capacity. This model is designed for 220–600 m³.

What is the heating capacity of the Firebull S14?

This tubular stove heats spaces of 220–600 m³, including larger commercial and restaurant premises.

Which fuel is suitable?

You can burn quality logs or wood briquettes up to 84 cm long. For attractive flames and ideal burning, the optimal length is 70 cm.

How long does one full load burn?

With dry, unsplit logs of optimal or maximum length and the air controls set for low-output burning, the fire and flames can last up to 4 hours without refuelling.

How long does it give off heat after the last load?

The substantial steel stove can radiate heat for up to 10 hours after the last load of large pieces of unsplit roundwood. After several hours of full operation, turn the air dampers down to minimum and let the thick layer of embers release its heat.

How often must ash be removed?

About once or twice a month. These Firebull tubular stoves deliberately have no grate or ash pan: the fire burns directly on the bottom tubes and is lit on a bed of ash. Remove ash with a shovel or suitable fireplace ash vacuum only when it reaches the lower edge of the loading opening. This essential insulating layer protects the bottom from direct heat. Repeated burning leaves little fine dust.

How do I clean the Firebull S14 glass?

Regular maintenance is essential. To remove soot and tar from the glass door, try these proven methods:

  • Fine ash (free and environmentally friendly): Dip a damp paper towel in fine, cold ash from the firebox. Wipe deposits from the cool glass with gentle circular motions. Wash with clean water and dry.
  • Specialist cleaners: For stubborn tar, use a dedicated fireplace-glass cleaner as a foam or spray. Apply only to a cool door, leave briefly, then wipe off.
  • Vinegar solution: Mix vinegar and water 1:1 in a spray bottle. Spray onto cool glass, leave briefly and wipe with a microfibre cloth.

How can I prevent soot and tar on the glass?

Use only sufficiently dry wood with moisture ideally below 20%. Wet wood causes heavy soot deposits. Do not keep the air supply completely restricted: insufficient oxygen prevents proper combustion and produces thick smoke that spoils the view of the fire.

What type of glass is used in the door?

The Firebull S14 has special heat-resistant ceramic glass that withstands the extreme temperatures in the combustion chamber. With normal use and correct lighting, it should not crack.

How do I prevent smoke escaping when refuelling?

Ideally, add fuel when the previous wood has nearly burned away and embers remain on the ash. If the flue has a damper, ensure it is fully open. Fully open both primary and secondary air inlets before opening the door wide.

Carefully release the handle and open the door only about 1–2 cm at first. Wait 5–10 seconds for the flue gases to be drawn into the chimney. This balances the pressure between the firebox and room and creates the draught needed to keep smoke out of the living space. Then open fully, add the necessary logs promptly and safely, and close immediately.

Does the Firebull stove paint need to be cured?

Yes, it must be heat-cured before first use so that the surface finish hardens correctly.

Curing procedure:

  • During the first firing, gradually heat the stove to its stated maximum output.
  • Maintain that output for approximately 2 hours.
  • Ventilate the room adequately. Odour and smoke can occur as substances are released from the paint.
  • Then let the stove cool completely.

You can also cure the paint outdoors, avoiding the need to ventilate an indoor room. Follow these steps:

  • Place the stove in a safe location suitable for operation.
  • Connect a flue pipe at least 2 m high. This should be sufficient for paint curing.
  • Gradually heat the stove to its stated maximum output.
  • Maintain that output for approximately 2 hours.
  • Odour and smoke can occur as substances are released from the paint.
  • Let the stove cool completely.
  • Once cool, move and install it in its intended indoor position.

Note: Noticeable odour and smoke can occur during the first curing fire. This is normal while the heat-resistant paint hardens.
